About the course
This program is about Investments, and here you are going to learn how to deal with various questions which typically arise when corporate managers or private investors consider business opportunities and assess acceptability and efficiency of any kind of investment decisions they take. Investments is the central topic in business because investment activity allows companies to grow, to innovate and to generate wealth for its shareholders and indirectly for the entire community.
The program contents cover the main basic and advanced financial concepts which are applied by market participants across different countries and industries and are a must for all who are interested in gaining advanced practical knowledge and skills in investment appraisal. In addition, you are going to find out how to assess the cost of equity and debt financing and, consequently, the weighted average cost of capital, as well as how to apply the knowledge in investment appraisal in order to conduct business valuations.
