Chemistry is an experimental science. But you can’t do without the ability to predict in it. In the past, models of molecules made of balls and rods were used for visualization, but nowadays it is possible to visualize the structure of a substance and calculate the course of chemical reactions on a computer.

- Practice: you will learn to use Molcas and ORCA programs and do a lot of modeling — first of two-atom molecules and then of complex chemical reactions.
- Theory: you will understand the basic concepts and methods of quantum mechanics to perform calculations.
