On June 1, St Petersburg University starts launching online courses that were previously exclusively presented on the international educational platform Coursera, but became unavailable to students because Russian content was blocked there.
More than 100 online courses and programs of St Petersburg University will now be available on the OpenEdu National Platform. More than 70 of them will be in English, including popular online courses in Russian as a foreign language, quantum computing, management, psychology, etc.
We believe that students from all over the world should have access to quality education, despite sanctions and restrictions, so all online courses in English will be available to everyone absolutely free of charge.
This step will enable Russian and international students to continue their studies in the most popular and in-demand online courses and will undoubtedly contribute to the development of Russian education exports.
